Pharmacy students in their professional years of study are invited to join based on academic standing. The Mission of the Society is to encourage and recognize excellence in intellectual achievement and foster fellowship amongst its members. Our Beta Delta Chapter at St. John\u2019s University participates in various community service and professional activities, including <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">Relay for Life<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">, <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">CV Workshops<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">, <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">Coffeehouse Chats<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">, and <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">Becoming a Strong PGY1 Residency Candidate<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">. In addition, we often work closely with other pharmacy organizations on campus in events such as <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">Healthy Halloween<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\"> and the new <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">Doctor of Pharmacy Mentoring Program<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 1.5em;\">.
